In compliance with the requirements of the Maddy Act, California Government Code Section §54970, the following appointment list of the City of Imperial's Commission, Board and Committee members is posted on an annual basis.

The names on this list are subject to change based on term expiration and resignations that occur during the year.

PLANNING COMMISSION/TRAFFIC COMMITTEE

The Planning Commission shall consist of five (5) members as appointed by the City Council. Each member of the City Council shall appoint one planning commission member. The term of office of each commission member shall run concurrently with the term of office of the City Council member who appointed the commissioner. Should the appointing City Council member leave office for any reason, the appointment shall expire and the successor council member shall appoint a person to serve the balance of the unexpired portion of the term. Any appointee shall be a registered voter within the City of Imperial at time of appointment and shall throughout the appointment continue to be registered.

LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Appointed by the City Council. Consists of five (5) members appointed for a term of three (3) years. Board priorities include, technology focusing on areas of innovation and access, collection development with focus on both print and digital collections and localized programming supported by demographics and/or community interest. The Library Board represents the community and must be persons capable of serving as intelligent and unbiased liaisons between the people, the library and city government.
