High Temperature Warning - Week of July 31 - August 6, 2023
Good Morning Team Imperial,
Please be advised that next week’s temperatures are expected to reach 95 degrees or higher.
Please take extra precautions when working outdoors and traveling.
- Drink plenty of water, even if you aren’t thirsty – take a drink every 15 minutes.
- Rest in the shade.
- Wear light-colored clothing.
Be sure to fill up your water containers in the morning and throughout the day to keep a fresh, cool supply of water with you. Remember to clean the water containers daily to ensure your water supply remains clean.
Please pay special attention to heat illness related symptoms listed below. If you or a co-worker is experiencing any of the following symptoms, please rest in the shade and if symptoms do not subside, get medical assistance immediately.
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Sweaty Skin
- Weakness
- Cramps
- Nausea/Vomiting
- Fast Heartbeat
- Confusion
- Convulsions
- Fainting
- Red, Hot, Dry Skin
- High Body Temperature
