ADJUSTMENTS TO THE AGENDA: The City Council will discuss the order of the agenda, may amend the order, add urgency items, note abstentions or "no" votes on consent calendar items and request consent calendar items be removed from the consent calendar for discussion. The City Council may also remove items from the consent calendar prior to that portion of the agenda. For purposes of the official city record, the City Council may take care of these issues by entertaining a formal motion.

Presenter: Aaron Reel, Chief of Police Recommended Action: Accept the 2022-2023 State Citizen’s Option for Public Safety and adopt Resolution No. 2024-53, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IMPERIAL APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF STATE CITIZENS OPTIONS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY (COPS) PROGRAM FUNDING FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023. |
C-3. | Award a construction contract for the Aten Boulevard Rehabilitation project between Vilore Way and old SR-86, Project No. Bid 2024-03. Presenter: Othon Mora, Community Development Director Recommended Action: Award a contract for the Aten Boulevard Rehabilitation project Bid. No 2024-03 to Rove Engineering in the amount of $1,878,883.11 and authorize a 15% contingency. |
C-4. | Award a construction contract for the Aten Boulevard Class II Bike Lane project from Vilore Way to Austin Road, Project No. Bid 2024-02. Presenter: Othon Mora, Community Development Director Recommended Action: Award contract to Sterndahl Enterprises, LLC in the amount of $678,459.76 and authorize a 10% contingency. |
