All items appearing under "Consent Agenda" will be acted upon by the City Council in one motion without discussion. Should any Council member or other person request that any item be considered separately, that item will then be taken up at the time as determined by the Mayor.

C. ACTION ITEMS (DISCUSSION/ACTION- APPROVE-DISAPPROVE):

C-1.Purchase of a Raw Water Flow Meter for the Water Treatment Plant.

Recommended Action: Approve the purchase and replacement of a raw water flow meter for the Water Treatment Plant in the amount of $22,856.43.
C-2.Purchase of Ultra Violet (UV) disinfection parts for annual maintenance at the Wastewater Treatment plant.

Presenter: David Dale, Public Services Director
Recommended Action: Approve the purchase of UV disinfection parts for annual maintenance in the amount of $41,399.92 with Trojan Technologies.
C-3.Approve Budget Amendment No. 1 for the Manhole Rehabilitation and Lining Project.

Recommended Action: Approve a budget amendment in the amount of $31,285.00 to include additional manholes and lift stations for the Manhole Rehabilitation and Lining Project.
C-4.Award a contract for the Sunset Park Playground Shade Project Bid No. 2024-05.

Presenter: Tony Lopez, Parks and Recreation Director
Recommended Action: Award a contract for Sunset Park Playground Shade Project to USA Shade Inc. in the amount of $125,500.00 with a 10% contingency.
C-5.Award a contract for Labor Compliance Services for Sunset Park Playground Shade Project RFP No. 2024-03.

Presenter: Tony Lopez, Parks and Recreation Director
Recommended Action: Award the Labor Compliance Services RFP No. 2024-03 to Labor Consultants of Southern California LLC in the amount of $3,000.00 for the Sunset Park Playground Shade Project.
C-6.Purchase of two (2) Polaris Side by Sides for the Parks and Recreation Special Events Division.

Presenter: Tony Lopez, Parks and Recreation Director
Recommended Action: Approve the purchase of two (2) Polaris Side by Sides in the amount of $72,926.52.
C-7.Award a contract for the 7th Street Rehabilitation & Pedestrian Improvements Project from South D Street to South E Street Bid No. 2024-04.

Presenter: Othon Mora, Community Development Director
Recommended Action: Award the contract to Rove Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $275,100.86 with a 25% contingency.
